Kids do the darndest things...lol lol

OK...here we go! I had to write about this! I found this to be so funny.

Recently my youngest daughter lost some of her dolls which she loved so

much. When I tell you she really loves her dolls, she really do. It's so

funny watching her play with them. She dresses them in many different

outfits almost everyday. One day when I can into her room I saw her and

her older sister duck tapping this doll (a bratz doll) in electrical tape. I

couldn't help but ask them what the heck they doing. She in returned

stated that she wanted a ninja doll and wanted her sister to help her

design an outfit for the doll. Keep in mind that my oldest daughter is

almost 20 years old and she was right there on the floor holding the

doll still. LoL I couldn't help but laugh but I must say I'm glad she still

plays with dolls. Kids these days have changed so much, some seem to

say that dolls aren't "in" anymore meaning they don't care to play with

them...they say. Well I'm happy Lex still plays with them! I wish more

kids would play with dolls and toys I think it would help to keep our

children more playful. Allowing them to grow up when the time is right.

Many children have taken there focus off the simple things like dolls and

toys and have focused much more on things that shouldn't concern them

at there age. Today is Lex's Birthday and I will be going out to find her a

real Ninja doll and you better believe me when I say she will keep the one

she and her sister made also.

OH well I guess it is true KIDS DO THE DARNDEST THINGS!

I'll Always Love You!!!

Stairway to Heaven.....

Hello everyone,

First I must Thank my best friend the Muse for inspiring me to write this piece!!

I have really missed writting for you. I want to first thank all of my readers and friends for offering me your support and prayers for the lost of my second sister Donna M. Hendrix.

Sit back and let me share with you about what's been going on the last two weeks. My sister Donna had been battling Breast Cancer for quite sometime, she was a real fighter. For awhile she had gone into remission but that old devil of a disease cancer reoccurred again about two years ago.

Donna was a real Warrior she never complained during her battle she was always looking to uplift others especially me. When my days seemed hard, she always offered a prayer and a kind word giving each of her siblings love and laughter each time one of us spoke with her. She loved to read and loved to watch old movies. She was a very intelligent young lady with two beautiful children and a wonderful husband who loved her dearly.

On May 23,09 I awoke to my sister calling me joking let's go see Donna today and help cheer her up...you see Donna was back in the hospital again but feeling all so fine she had just stated. My sister and I laughed on the way to the hospital stating how we where going to tell Donna to hurry up and get out of there so we can visit her at home.

As we pulled up to the Hospital we entered the faculty still laughing until we saw Donna...as a Hospice Worker I knew right off the back that God was calling Donna home. The tears begin to roll down my face but never allowing Donna to feel my hurt I begin to speak to her and rub her hair.

I knew God was calling her home!My sister Kim begin to sing praise and worship songs to her and I joined in singing as well, still stroking her hair. You could see her rejoicing still even in a time when God was calling her home.

Oh how beautiful to see that! Later that night Donna made her transition to Heaven and we all was just over whelmed with grief. Donna will dearly be missed and we will always love her but God's grace and mercy has truly given me comfort.

To know that God has taken her to a place where she will never hurt again, where her body has been made whole, where there is No more chemo or medicine, where there is No more pain but glory.
She hurts NO MORE!!!I say this to everyone, never take life for granted for we never know when God may call us home. The Bible tells us to take no thought for tomorrow for today has enough troubles of it's own.

Enjoy life everyone....reach out to your love ones...tell your family and friends how much you love them and remember that know matter what life may hold for us all God has the last say so in our lives.

So I ask that you continue to pray for me and my family as I will do for you and yours.

So rest my angel for we will meet again...

I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU DONNA!!!! A NEW ANGEL IS IN HEAVEN !

Bed-wetting , Millions of adults suffer, too

Many of those with urinary incontinence are too ashamed to seek help. Even though many people think bed wetting is a childhood problem it's not. There are millions of American adults that are affected by urinary incontinence. Many people are not aware that many medical diagnosis can cause bed wetting as well. Many veterans are effected and of course many teens.

In the world we live in today many medical doctors can try and add some comfort to those who suffer by using medication and other bed wetting methods. If you have ever seen the frustration on an adult or child's face it can be extremely embarrassing. I urge you to take a moment to speak with the child or adult that may be experiencing Nocturnal Enuresis this will help to give the child or adult understanding of what they maybe going through and to also let them know they are not alone. Many are not forthcoming when it comes to dealing with incontinence's.

“Bed-wetting can affect partnerships, it can affect sleep, and it can be a financial burden, as well, if you factor in the cost of bedding, protective sheets, mattress covers,It can all be overwhelming.

This is why I have focused so much on providing our children and adults a devices that will give them relief from incontinence as well as helping to give them back there dignity.

"The Night Helper Watches" are here to serve the purpose of assisting bed wetters.

Again this is just my medical opinion...always check with your urologist, family physician.

Feel free to visit " The Night Helper Site" http://www.nighthelperwatches.com/index.php

Until next time: God Bless!

Earth Day!!!

Today is Earth Day and I wanted to ask each of you, What will you do today to honor Earth Day? It's a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment.
My youngest have been waiting for this day lol.She has set up exactly what she will be doing today.

She has made many posters and they are posted all over the house :). I guess she really wants to make sure I honor Earth Day as well.I told her I will honor Earth Day by not cooking today...lol(you should have seen her face lol). We will go without lights today for an hour, we will be using Lanterns. We will shut off the T.V. for an hour today and color. Allowing us to save energy.

This will happen early because I have to watch Lost lol. Our diner will consist of sandwiches, pasta salad so I won't have to use the microwave or stove. We will take a moment to clean up the lawn today if it doesn't rain and plant a small tree. We will load up all plastic bottles, plastic bags today to drop in the recycle bin. We will not waste any water...don't just let it run shut it off and take shorter showers.

Our earth is being smothered by our lack of proper use for our environment. We must take a stand to help our world become toxic free.

What will you do today?

Until next time:God Bless, remember saving the earth is the best gift of all...It's Free!

In Honor of CARL WALKER!!!!

Please play as you read!!!

I don't know if many of you have heard about this young man name Carl Walker- Hoover" 11 years old who committed suicide because of some students bullying him at school. As many of you know, children are my passion and anytime I hear or read anything this disturbing it really hits home for me. As a mother, I just can't even begin to imagine how Ms. Walker feels but I wanted to let her know I offer my condolences to her and her family.

Whats happening to our children people, where did we go wrong. Why is it that our children are being bullied by other children. Carl was just a normal kid like yours and mind who just wanted to be loved and to fit in with others. His life was over way to soon, all over the harsh treatment of others.

Spokesperson stated that Carl hung himself in his home because of the bullies calling him names "They were always saying, 'you're gay, you must be gay, you act like a girl," said Walker mom. Wow...so sad to know that we have children out their judging what a person is or by the color of there skin.

What happened to the good old days, where kids played together, where they could fist fight without using guns and we played together without judging anyone about anything. Wake up people this problem is not an isolated incident you better believe there are more children out there being bullied.

I say WAKE UP EVERYONE....help our children No matter what race or color, we all need each other. Step up Teachers, Pastors, Politicians,Parents ,Communities the world is our CHILDREN!

We can't stand by and allow these bullies to think it's OK to judge or tease others
it's Wrong and Out Right Mean! As a parent I'm truly sadden by all this even all the events that are going on in the world today with our children, it sickens me!

The world won't get much better if we just let it be...we have to change it ...yes you and me. We need everybody to write to there schools district and ask them to put into place A NO BULLYING POLICY!!! Write to your State , Senators, Congressmen, telling them to help save our children. Let's Make A Change!!!

Last but not least let's keep Ms. Walker and her family in our prayers!

I saw this site posted on Ellen's site: At risk kids can find help at the Trevor Helpline:http://thetrevorproject.org/helpline.aspx

I'm Excited...

Yes it's true...I'm very excited!! Upon speaking to one of my BFF's. I have decided to move forward on developing some new items with my timepieces. Can't really say much as of yet, but it looks like this might really work. I spoke to some very important people today who are willing to give me there time and expertise. WOOHOO!!!

I hope to be able to come back soon and share all the details with everyone, but as the old saying goes...don't spill the beans until there done and ready. I'm waiting to finish up with a few companies that have contacted me about my timepieces and if all goes well maybe everything will fall into place all at once.

I do believe that when you stand on faith and trust in God that he will begin to open up many doors.

I must say Thank you to my BFF, she's the best!

Until next time: God Bless!!

If you had three thing in life to change...what would they be?

Would it be the extravagant clothes and pearls you wear. Would it be the lovely hairdo you have or the fancy car you drive. How about the diamond earrings and the gorgeous shoes. All those things are fine and well but if you really had to think about it

"What Would It Be"

You see as we get older those things we use to have or still have today really didn't change our lives, they were only material things that were added to our lives. To change one thing in your life would be like helping to make a difference in the lives of others without using material things. It's very easy to change a life with material things but what about changing the lives of others that leaves them with a PRICLESS MOMENT!

If I had three thing in life to change...what would it be?

1)I would have told my love ones who have passed away how much I love them! (Everyday) :)

2)I would have Focused more on finding a cure for all diseases. Especially CANCER!

3) I would have spent every moment working harder to extend a helping hand to the homeless, children and seniors.

These are the changes I wish I could go back in life and change.
My mom always use to say know matter how old you may get you can always make a change in the lives of others and within your own life.

So I pledge for the rest of my life to make a change in the lives of everyone I meet even if they are far away or close by.

I promise to do my best in helping every child live a better life.
I promise to lend a ear when it's needed to all my friends.
I promise to tell my love ones EVERYDAY THAT I LOVE THEM.

So I ask you,
If you had three things in life to change...what would they be?

Until next time:God Bless!
